Copying in black and white

Copying using the control panel on the All-In-One

1. Load paper into the paper support.
2. Load the document on the scanner glass.
3. Press on the control panel of the All-In-One.

   Note:

   The document is copied in black and white using the current copy settings in the Lexmark 3300 Series Center.

Copying using the Lexmark 3300 Series Center

1. Load paper into the paper support.
2. Load document on the scanner glass.
3. Open the Lexmark 3300 Series Center. The Lexmark 3300 Series Center Main Page appears.
4. Select the Copy tab.
   1. From the Quantity & Copy Type area, choose:
      • Grayscale if you are copying a photo, or
      • Black if you are copying a text document.
   2. Customize the rest of the settings in the Copy tab, as needed.
5. Click Preview/Edit for more copy options on the Copy dialog.
   1. On the Settings tab:
      • Check that the selection for copy type in the Copy tab dialog is reflected (Grayscale or Black). Change this setting as needed.
      • Select a copy quality.
      • Descreen, if needed. For more information, see Scan dialog.
   2. Select the Adjustments tab, and adjust the settings as needed.
   3. Select the Finishing tab for additional layout options.
   4. Click Preview Again to apply the settings and see the changes on the preview image.
6. Click Copy.
