Copy quality is unsatisfactory

• If your document is too light or dark:
1. From Copy dialog, select the Adjustments tab.
2. Adjust the lightness and brightness by moving the slider.
• If you are copying in black and white and want to improve the quality:
1. On the Copy tab, choose Grayscale from the Quantity & Copy type menu.
2. Click Preview.

The Copy dialog displays.

3. On the Settings tab, select Grayscale from the Copy Type menu.
4. From Copy Quality, select Photo, Normal, or Quick Copy.
• If you are copying from a printed source and your original material has a wavy pattern of dots on it, follow these directions:
1. On the Copy dialog dialog, select the Settings tab.
2. From the Descreen pop-up menu, choose Magazine or Newspaper.
