Descreening
With the Descreen function of the All-In-One, you can get clear scanned images from magazines, newspapers, and other documents. Descreening is the process of removing wavy patterns from scanned images.
- Load an original document on the scanner glass.
- Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
- Select the Scan tab and customize the settings.
- Click Preview/Edit to open the Scan dialog.
- From the Settings tab, select Custom Settings.
- From the "Descreen Magazine or Newspaper" pop-up menu, choose Photo, Text, Art Print, Magazine, Newspaper, or None.
- Click Scan.
