Preview
From your computer:
Select Preview to review your documents before sending them to print. This is useful when working with photos.
Mac OS X version 10.1.5 or later:
From the software application, choose Display, and click any of the following commands:
- Zoom In to enlarge the image on the preview area.
- Zoom Out to reduce the image on the preview area.
- Rotate Left to rotate the image 90 degrees counterclockwise. The change in orientation is reflected in the thumbnails.
- Rotate Right to rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise. The change in orientation is reflected in the thumbnails.
Mac OS X version 10.2.3 or later:
- Click Thumbnails for a page-by-page view of your documents. Scroll up, down, left, and right to view all pages. Click a thumbnail to display it on the preview area.
- Click Zoom In to enlarge the image on the preview area.
- Click Zoom Out to reduce the image on the preview area.
- Click Rotate Left to rotate the image 90 degrees counterclockwise. The change in orientation is reflected in the thumbnails.
- Click Rotate Right to rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise. The change in orientation is reflected in the thumbnails.
- Click the arrows on the left side of the dialog.
- Click the Backward arrow to view the previous page.
- Click the Forward arrow to view the next page.
- Click the Page Number Page Number panel to enter a specific range of pages that you want to display in the preview area.
Mac OS X version 10.3 or later:
- Click the Drawer icon to display or retract the thumbnails and search box panel.
- Click Back/Forward to move to the next page or back.
- From Page, enter a specific page number of your document to display.
- Click Page Up to go to the previous page.
- Click Page Down to go to the next page.
- Click Zoom In to enlarge the image in the preview area.
- Click Zoom Out to reduce the image in the preview area.
- From Tool Mode, select an edit content mode, a text edit mode, or an object edit mode.
From your printer:
Pressing the Print Preview button:
- Insert a memory card.
- From the I Want To screen, scroll to View Photos or Print and press the Select button.
- Browse and select a photo you want to print.
- Make the necessary changes to settings and press Select to save the settings.
- Press Print Preview to view your photo as it will be printed.
- For multi-page jobs, use or to view the pages.
Enabling the Auto-Preview before Print option:
If Auto-Preview before Print is turned on, the images appear on the display before printing.
- Insert a memory card.
- From the I Want To screen, scroll to View Photos or Print and press the Select button.
- Browse and select a photo you want to print.
- Press Menu.
- From the Menu, scroll to Auto Preview before Print.
- Use or until
On
is displayed.

To disable this function, make sure that Off is displayed. |
- Press Select to save the settings.
