Scanning a text-and-graphics document

1. Load an original document on the scanner glass.
2. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
3. Select the Scan tab.
4. From the "What is being scanned?" menu, click Mixed Graphics and Text.
5. From the "How will the scanned image be used?" pop-up menu, choose To be printed, To be viewed on monitor/Web page, To be faxed, or To be edited (OCR).
6. Click Scan.
