Adjust color settings when printing
- From your software application, choose File
Print.... The Print dialog appears.
- From the pop-up menu that says Copies & Pages, choose Color Options.
- Select from the following color settings:
- Color. Produces natural colors; ideal for printing photos and graphics.
- Black Only. Uses only the black cartridge to print, so that all output is pure black. This option also helps increase printing speed.
Mac OS X v10.3 Panther
The ColorSync feature in Mac OS X v10.3 Panther lets you enhance color settings further.
- Open the Print dialog.
- From the pop-up menu that says Copies & Pages, choose ColorSync.
- From Quartz Filter, choose Black & White, Blue Tone, Gray Tone, Lightness Decrease, Lightness Increase, Reduce File Size, or Sepia Tone. To create a customized filter, choose Add Filters.... Follow the onscreen instructions to create and add your custom filter.
