Adjust color settings when copying

Instead of using the automatic settings, you can manually adjust the color settings for optimum color output.

  1. From the Copy tab, click Preview... to open the Copy dialog.
  2. From the Settings tab:
    • Under Copy Type, select Color for all color documents and images, Grayscale for black and white images, and Black for text-only documents.
    • Descreen.
  3. From the Adjustments tab:
    • Adjust the brightness, contrast, and gamma.
    • Sharpen your image.
    • Invert colors.

From the Original Image Type pop-up menu on the Copy tab, it is also important that you specify the type of image corresponding to your original document. This activates the image enhancement function in the All-In-One software and produces realistic copies of your original documents.
