Get your All-In-One ready to fax

Your All-In-One works with the fax application available in your computer. To be able to use your All-In-One for faxing, make sure:

• You have a fax software application installed in your computer.
• Your All-In-One is attached to a computer with a modem, and the modem is connected to a phone line.
• You set the fax software to send and receive faxes. Refer to your fax application documentation for more information.

After checking these items, your All-In-One is ready to fax. Go to Scan your document to send as fax and Receive a fax.

Mac OS X v10.3 Panther

Mac OS X v10.3 Panther provides a built-in, Apple-implemented fax application that enables you to send and receive faxes using your All-In-One. You do not need to buy a separate fax application.

To get your All-In-One ready to fax in Mac OS X v10.3 Panther, make sure that your computer has a modem that is connected to a phone line. Once this is set up, your All-In-One is automatically configured to send faxes. Go to Use the Apple fax application.
