Making borderless copies of photos
- Load paper into the paper support.
Note: |
For a borderless copy, you must load the same size of paper as the image you want to copy. For example, if you want to make a borderless copy of a 4 x 6 inch photo, you must also have a 4 x 6 glossy or photo card in the paper support. |
- Load an original document on the scanner glass.
- Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
- Select the Copy tab.
- From the Output "Paper Type" pop-up menu, choose Standard Glossy/Photo, Lexmark Photo Paper, or Lexmark Premium Photo Paper.
- From the Output "Paper Size" pop-up menu, choose the paper size corresponding to the size of the paper you have loaded into the paper support.
- From the Resize area, set the scale value to 100% or higher.
- From the "Original Image Size" pop-up menu, choose the value that matches the size of the document on the scanner glass.
Note: |
Make sure that the size of the image to be scanned is not smaller than the desired output image. |
- Click Copy to copy the document, or click Preview/Edit to go to the Copy dialog for more copy options. For more information, see Enhancing photo print quality when copying.
For more information on cropping and resizing images, see Cropping photos using Auto-crop, Cropping photos manually, and Enlarging or reducing an image when copying. You can combine these concepts to print a variety of borderless photos out of a single photograph.
