E-mail a scanned item

When you want to scan a new item and send it through e-mail:

  1. Load originals on the scanner glass.
  2. Open the Lexmark 2200 Series Center.
  3. Select the Scan tab.
  4. From the What is being scanned? area, choose the type of image that you are scanning.
  5. From the How will the scan be used? pop-up menu, choose Viewed on-screen/Web page.
  6. From the Send scanned images to: pop-up menu, choose an application.
  7. Click Scan.
  8. Save the scanned image to your application.
  9. Retrieve the saved image from your application and send it through e-mail as an attachment.
