Scanning clear images from magazines or newspapers

Descreening helps to remove wavy patterns from images found in magazines or newspapers.

  1. Load the document on the scanner glass.
  2. Open the Lexmark 3300 Series Center. The Lexmark 3300 Series Center Main Page appears.
  3. Select the Scan tab.
     
     
    1. From the "What is being scanned?" menu, select the type of image you are scanning.
    2. Choose an option from the "How will the scanned image be used?" pop-up menu.
    3. From the "Send scanned image to:" pop-up menu, choose a destination or application for the scanned image.
    4. Select Prompt for multiple pages if you have several items to scan.
    5. Click
      • Scan to start scanning the image
      • Preview/Edit to see the scanned image and fine-tune the settings
