Enlarging or reducing an image when copying

From the control panel

  1. Load paper into the paper support.
  2. Load an original document on the scanner glass.
  3. Press Mode until the Copy light comes on.
  4. Press Resize. Use the left (-) and right (+) arrows to choose a preset enlargement or reduction value.
  5. Press Select.
  6. Press Menu to open the Copy menu. Adjust the settings as needed.
  7. Press Color or Black.

From the Lexmark 4300 Series Center

  1. Load paper into the paper support.
  2. Load an original document on the scanner glass.
  3. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
  4. Select the Copy tab.
  5. From the "Original Image Size" pop-up menu, choose the paper size that matches the actual size of the photo or document on the scanner glass.
    Note: It is important that you enter the correct paper size so that the resized image is not cropped or distorted. The All-In-One scanning software reads this information and uses it to resize the document when you set the resize value.
  6. To enlarge an image:
From the Resize area, choose an enlargement value. You can choose one of the preset sizes, or you can manually enter an incremental percentage value.
Note: To enlarge an image, the resize value must be higher than the actual size of the original image.
To reduce an image:
From the Resize area, choose a reduction value. You can choose one of the preset sizes, or you can manually enter a percentage value lower than the size of the original image.
Note: To reduce an image, the resize value must be lower than the actual size of the original image.
  1. Click Copy.
