Enhancing photo print quality when copying

  1. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
  2. Select the Copy tab.
    1. From the Copy Quality area, select Photo.
    2. From the "Output Paper Type" pop-up menu, choose Standard Glossy/Photo, Lexmark Photo Paper, or Lexmark Premium Photo Paper.
  3. Click Preview/Edit to go to the Copy dialog to fine-tune copy settings.
    1. From the Settings tab:
      • Select the copy type that is appropriate for the photo.
      • From the Copy Quality area, select Photo.
      • Reduce background noise, if needed. Select Reduce Background Noise, and move the slider to adjust the level of noise reduction.
      • Note: The noise reduction option is only enabled when copying or scanning color documents.
    2. From the Adjustments tab:
      • Adjust the brightness.
      • Adjust the contrast.
      • Adjust the gamma (color correction curve).
      • Sharpen the image.
