Crop your photos to highlight certain focal points or to show only a specific portion of an image. Both the Scan and Copy dialogs have the cropping function.
Note: | Auto-crop in the Scan dialog is turned on when Photo is selected from the What is being scanned? menu in the Scan tab. Auto-crop in the Copy dialog is turned on when Auto is chosen from the Original Paper Size: pop-up menu in the Copy tab. |
Note: | The file size, width, and height of the crop area are displayed at the bottom of the preview area. Choose a preferred unit of measurement from the pop-up menu. |
Note: | Not all changes and adjustments in the settings are reflected in the preview image when the Preview Again button is clicked. |
By clicking Scan, only the designated cropped area is saved or sent to your application. By clicking Copy, only the designated cropped area is printed.
For manual cropping, go to Crop photos manually.
