Understanding the All-In-One

The Lexmark 4300 Series All-In-One is a color scanner, color printer, and color copier. Whether or not the All-In-One is attached to a computer, you can use it to perform a variety of functions.

You do not need to attach the All-In-One to a computer to make copies, to print photos stored on memory cards, or to print photos directly from a digital camera using PictBridge.
You do need to attach the All-In-One to a computer to scan and to print documents saved on the computer.
