Cannot discover a network printer
Remedy
Try one or more of the following:

Make sure that the printer is turned on.

Make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into the printer and into a properly grounded electrical outlet.

Make sure that the printer is connected to the network.

Restart the printer.

Make sure that TCP/IP is enabled on the printer.

Make sure that the ports used by MVE are open, and SNMP and mDNS are enabled. For more information, see Understanding ports and protocols.
