Cannot launch DDU
Make sure that the Java security is set to High
From the Java control panel, navigate to the Security tab, and then set it to High. For more information, contact your system administrator.
Make sure that the Java "Mixed code security verification" setting is disabled
From the Java control panel, navigate to the Advanced tab, and then disable Mixed code security verification. For more information, contact your system administrator.
Make sure that the directory path of DDU is not nested and is fewer than 120 characters
Windows command prompt is limited only to 120 characters. For more information, see the command prompt help file.
Disable Java access bridge for DDU

Using a text editor, open the ddu.bat file.
Note:You can find the .bat file at DDUAppFolder\bin, where DDUAppFolder is the location of the DDU folder.

Navigate to the call entry,
"%JAVA_EXE%" %DEFAULT_JVM_OPTS% %JAVA_OPTS% %DDU_OPTS% -classpath "%CLASSPATH%" com.lexmark.ddu.application.Main %CMD_LINE_ARGS%, and then replace this entry with the following:"%JAVA_EXE%" %DEFAULT_JVM_OPTS% %JAVA_OPTS% %DDU_OPTS% - Djavax.accessibility.assistive_technologies - Djavax.accessibility.screen_magnifier_present=false -classpath "%CLASSPATH%" com.lexmark.ddu.ui.application.workflow.ConfigurationWindow - Save the file.
- Run DDU again.
